TÜİK Announces Turkey’s Population: 85.8 Million People
The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) has released the latest population data, reporting that as of July 1, 2025, Turkey’s population reached 85,824,854.
Population Growth in First Half of 2025
According to the data, Turkey’s population at the end of 2024 was 85,664,944. In the first half of 2025, it increased by 159,910 people, reaching the current figure.
Male and Female Ratio
Men make up 50.01% (42,923,584) of the total population, while women account for 49.99% (42,901,270).
