Five Suspects Including Burak Deniz Referred to Court in Drug Investigation
In a drug investigation targeting celebrities, Emre Fel Ozturk (Emre Fel Öztürk), Hafsanur Sancaktutan (Hafsanur Sancaktutan), Ender Eroglu (Ender Eroğlu), Serra Pirinc (Serra Pirinç), Utku Unsal (Utku Ünsal), and Mert Demir (Mert Demir) were released after providing blood and hair samples. Meanwhile, Enes Guler (Enes Güler), Emir Can Igrek (Emir Can İğrek), Elif Busra Pekin (Elif Büşra Pekin), Burak Deniz (Burak Deniz), and Ogun Alibas (Ogün Alibaş) have been referred to the court.
As part of the drug investigation conducted in Istanbul, detention warrants were issued for 14 individuals, including Burak Deniz, Mert Demir, Emre Ozturk (Fel), Ender Eroglu (Norm Ender), and Enes Guler.
During simultaneous operations carried out in the morning hours, 11 suspects were detained. While the suspects were brought to the Forensic Medicine Institute for procedures, five individuals were released, and five others, including Burak Deniz, were sent to court.
New Narcotics Operation Against Celebrities
The investigation is being conducted by the Istanbul Anadolu Chief Public Prosecutor's Office in coordination with the Gendarmerie Narcotic Crimes Counter-Department. Within the framework of the investigation, legal proceedings were initiated against the suspects for the crimes of "purchasing, accepting, or possessing drugs or stimulants for use" and "providing and using drugs or stimulants."
11 Suspects Detained
Detention warrants were issued for 14 individuals, among whom are Burak Deniz, Mert Demir, Emre Ozturk (Fel), Ender Eroglu (Norm Ender), and Enes Guler. A total of 11 suspects were taken into custody during the morning operations. It was determined that two suspects are fugitives and one suspect is currently abroad.
Brought to Forensic Medicine
The detained suspects were taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute to provide hair, blood, and urine samples for analysis.
Five Suspects Transferred to the Courthouse
Following the completion of procedures at the Forensic Medicine Institute, Enes Guler, Emir Can Igrek, Elif Busra Pekin, Burak Deniz, and Ogun Alibas were transferred to the Kartal Courthouse. Emre Fel Ozturk, Hafsanur Sancaktutan, Ender Eroglu, Serra Pirinc, Utku Unsal, and Mert Demir were released after their samples were collected.
