Famous producer Erol Kose (Erol Köse) died after falling from the 16th floor of the Agaoglu (Ağaoğlu) 1453 Residences in Sariyer (Sarıyer) Maslak. An investigation is underway to determine whether Kose committed suicide or if the fall was accidental.

This sudden death has shaken the media industry. Following reports that the famous producer had been experiencing psychological issues recently, authorities are examining all possibilities. It was learned that shortly before the incident, Erol Kose told his domestic helper,
"Leave the house, I have a guest coming."The incident occurred approximately 20 minutes after the helper left the premises.

Police teams interviewed Mevlut (Mevlüt) Y. (64), a friend who lived with Kose. In his initial statement, Mevlut Y. noted that Kose suffered from psychological disorders and heart disease. He stated that Kose had not left the house for about three months and that he assisted with his care. Mevlut Y. mentioned that Kose was alone in the apartment when he went down to the lobby, and upon his return, he found his friend on the ground outside. It is evaluated that Kose may have fallen from the section of the 16th floor used as a rental office.

Born on September 21, 1965, in Elazig (Elazığ), Erol Kose was a well-known producer and former singer in Turkey. He began his music career with the group Komedi Dans Uclusu (Komedi Dans Üçlüsü). He transitioned into production after Deniz Arcak proposed an album collaboration.
Kose, the son of retired soldier Abdulkadir (Abdülkadir) and Zulfi (Zülfi), entered the music industry while studying at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine. During the 2000s, he solidified his career as a producer, working on projects with major artists such as Tarkan, Gulsen (Gülşen), and Sertab Erener.
Political Career and Past Incidents
Through his professional network, Yesim Salkim (Yeşim Salkım) introduced Kose to her husband, Hakan Uzan. Kose became a partner in Uzan's music company with a 51% stake. During this period, he met Cem Uzan, who suggested he run for parliament under the Genc (Genç) Party. However, he was not elected as the party did not receive sufficient votes.
Kose had survived being shot twice in the past—once in the heel and once in the leg. Regarding these incidents, he stated in 2011:
